As an HTML/CSS/JavaScript Developer at A Brand New Way, your primary focus will be developing and implementing high-quality, standards-based graphical user interfaces. You will play an integral role in projects, merging the work of Designers with that back-end systems and APIs.
An HTML/CSS/JavaScript Developer at A Brand New Way is responsible for the look and feel of our end products and solutions. This role requires somebody who is detail-oriented and welcomes problem-solving - understanding the desire for perfection not just in layout, but in the complete experience.
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of XHTML
- Expert knowledge of CSS
- 3-4 years of professional experience
- Proven experience of coding to Web Standards
Desired Experience
- Integrating Flash with JavaScript and HTML using ExternalInterface, SWFAddress, and SWFObject.
- Building solutions using JQuery and other JavaScript Frameworks like Prototype, Spry, and YUI.
- Familiarity of public APIs such as Flickr, SalesForce, Facebook, and Amazon Web Services.
- Experience working with and integrating with a server-side scripting language like PHP, Ruby or Python.
- Experience with server-side frameworks like Rails or Django.
